I only work with English (the language of my chosen home) and my mother tongue, Hungarian.
These are the two languages where I’ve got the high level of linguistic and cultural knowledge needed for getting the high quality and results you deserve.
However, I have a lot of professionals in my network who offer services in other languages, so if you need another language combination, just let me know, and I’ll get you started!

My first language and first culture will always be Hungarian.
I was born and raised in Hungary, so I know the smallest of linguistic nuances and all the cultural references that are essential to create an effective, naturally flowing copy in Hungarian. I also spend a lot of time in Hungary to keep my language up-to-date.

I generally stay away from highly technical, scientific or medical stuff – things I don’t know enough about to create a good Hungarian version. The best thing is to drop me a line with some information on what you need, and we can take it from there.

Most of the time I work alone, however, over my long years in the industry I’ve met some amazing colleagues I work well with. Yes, of course! It’s good practice to have everything checked and double-checked before it goes to print or you press “Publish”. I can look after the entire project but if you’d like to manage things at your end, I can pass on one of my trusted colleagues’ contact details.

Based on what I know about generative AI, there is a lot of issues with it, including serious ethical and environmental concerns. Not to mention how unreliable it is!
I generally avoid it, and when it comes to translation, it’s a huge no-no for me. I’ve found that AI or machine translated text limits creativity as it creates a box and then it’s difficult to think outside it – this is something I’ve never experienced when reviewing my colleagues’ work.
