Anikó holding a tuxedo cat called Pip in her arms in front of a bookshelf. She's wearing a black top with black-white dungarees and a pair of glasses.

Hello!

I’m Anikó.

Just like the punchy hot paprika, I’m from Hungary. I was born and raised there – but I made England my home as an adult.

This background gives me a unique blend of languages and cultures, so I’m in the perfect position to help UK-based brands with their creative copy for the Hungarian market.

With me you won’t get any of that AI absurdity.

Just pure, 100% human content.

let's chat

I’m your seasoned pro.

I’ve got over 15 years of experience in the localisation industry, so you can be sure I know my onions (and paprikas): I’ve been freelancing since 2018 but my work record also includes being a project manager at a translation agency and moonlighted for a few years in social media & digital marketing.

Volunteering plays a big part in my life, and I’m most proud of being one of the co-founders of a non-profit, #TeamTranslator, a positive, supportive community for freelance translators.

But I don’t sit around thinking I’m the cat’s whiskers. I regularly take CPD courses and attend webinars and conferences to keep on top of my craft. Sometimes I even speak at them.

Let’s get you grinning like a Cheshire cat.

You have a clear vision for your marketing campaign – with very clear objectives, and I’ll do everything I can to get you closer to them with a strong Hungarian copy.

So tell me all about them!

Once I’m up to speed on what you need, I’ll get to work. With the help of your brief, I make sure the final Hungarian version is just as hot as your English campaign. You’ll always have a clear idea of what you’re getting from me, even if you don’t speak Hungarian – you have the final say.

This is the secret of a successful campaign.

Picture of grey cat with yellow yes, called Kiki. She is sitting on a wooden table, she has a felt red pepper at her feet.

What my clients say:

It’s not all work.

Anikó and Kiki the grey cat are sitting on a coral-coloured sofa. Anikó is looking at Kiki, Kiki is sporting a mighty blep.

When I have some free time, I might hop on my yoga mat for a focused Iyengar practice or take to the gym to lift something heavy.

You might also find me with a book in my hands or on a trip somewhere exploring.

OK… I’m not kidding anyone.

The cat’s out of the bag:

Most of my free time is spent cuddling my two not-so-spicy kitties, Pip and Kiki.
